Works great, BUT...

this is NOT for lefties. the only way it works is if you're using your right hand.

Ease of use is great for joint protection

Almost effortless to use, easy to clean, great for joint protection if you have arthritis.

Sharp metal edges and flying vegetable strips.

The metal sides on the handle are rough, almost sharp, in fact the bottom part of the handle is sharp on the inside. It's very uncomfortable and irritating to hold. You have to drag the blade side very slowly across the vegetable, or the julienne strips will fly up into the air and go everywhere. I bought this at 40% off and I am still extremely disappointed. I will not be using it again.

The minute mine breaks, I'm buying a new one from here...

Pretty sturdy and very much as useful as the vegetable peeler. Excited to have this reliably cut down on prep time.
