More than a shopping bag
I bought multiples. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where the temperature within a day can change. I use the tote to tuck extra hoodies and jackets and because you can see what's in the bag it tells potential car-break-ins that there's nothing worth breaking a car window for. Surprisingly sturdy, good for toting melons and squash.
